About Dr Michals

Whatever Dr. John Michals does, he is energetic, positive, and passionate. His desire to create a positive impact and help others is apparent. His dedication to the chiropractic profession and his patients is evident in all he does.

Dr. Michals was born in Escondido, California. He completed his pre-chiropractic education at San Diego State University where he graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology. He then attended Palmer Chiropractic College-West in San Jose, California. There Dr. Michals received his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree in December 2003.

After graduating, Dr. Michals began his career in Fremont, CA under the guidance of his mentor Dr. Hans Freericks. After refining his skills and techniques under the watchful eye of Dr. Hans. Dr. Michals moved back home to San Diego to pursue his dream of owning his own practice.

Dr. Michals and his wife, Heidi have a son Owen who was born in February of 2004. While they are kept very busy by their son, and running their own business, in their free time John and Heidi do enjoy spending time at the beach, playing soccer, and relaxing with their many friends and family in the area.
